Dodger Stadium known as Chavez Ravine was scheduled to host the 2020 All-Star Game. Covid changed all of that but stadium improvements were already underway to get it ready for MLB’s big show. The 2021 season started and since Covid had become more manageable fans are allowed to attend in person. For now, the cavernous Ravine which holds approximately 54,000, the limit is a tad over 15,000 or 28%. The Dodgers opened the season on the road so they could celebrate April 15th or Jackie Robinson’s Day at home. Here are a few scenes of the improvements and yes, they will be hosting the All-Star game in 2022.
