This evening an energized group of Venice residents showcased their support for the people of Ukraine. They staged a rally in Venice, CA at 7PM. Those traveling on Pacific Avenue showed their support by following the signs which asked them to honk their horns. The group swelled to nearly one thousand and many held hand-made signs or carried Ukrainian flags. Some rode their bicycles and their wheels were decked out in the famous gold and blue. The event was held at Windward & Pacific and the famous Venice sign was lit up with alternative colors representing Ukraine. These are a few pics from the event as the spirit of the protest is to bring awareness of the unpopular invasion Putin has embarked upon.
