As mentioned, San Nicolas is a working-class community located in the southern part of Aruba. It is affectionately called “chocolate city” as the majority of the population prides itself on its African ancestry. Additionally, many consider it the cultural heartbeat of the country. Several years ago they established a mural project to showcase from its amazing array of local artist.
