While traveling on the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from Los Angeles to Tacoma, WA. At one of the rest stops I met the gifted Gant Eichrodt and his new bride and longtime friend Bertha as they recently married. They were seated not far from me and I noticed he grabbed a guitar and headed up front. Lo and behold he received permission to play in the dining car and the observation car. As our friendship grew I told him I would be honored to video the next time on our route he would be playing. Below are some special clips. It was more impressive to see those on the train congregate where he was playing to listen and appreciate the music he was providing.
